The Bank offers a number of excellent benefits for joining the team.

We aim to offer a diverse reward package to suit colleagues of all perspectives across the bank. In addition to offering both a competitive contributory pension and annual bonus scheme, we offer both core and a flexible benefits platform.

 

Core benefits include life assurance and income protection cover, offered to you upon commencing employment with the Bank. Our flexible benefits package allows you to choose from a suite of options, with all colleagues having a 10% flexible benefits fund (capped at 15k). You can choose the level of benefits that suit your lifestyle needs which can change as your priorities change. Alternatively, you have the option to take the 10% flex fund as a cash amount if you prefer.  

To support your well-being the bank operates a hybrid working approach giving all the opportunity to work flexibly. As part of our flexible working approach, we promote both part-time working and job-sharing opportunities across the bank at all grades. We also offer a range of leave options to allow you to manage your work-life balance including enhanced maternity, paternity and adoption leave. We also offer sabbatical leave allowing for career breaks and volunteering leave to support community projects.

Pension

10% employer contribution, increasing to 15% if the employee contributes 5% (20% in total).

Annual leave

Attractive annual package (30 days plus bank holidays), ability to carry over or buy/sell annual leave.

UKIB Bonus Scheme

A discretionary bonus of 2 months base salary (16%) if UKIB meets its target.

Flexible benefits

A flexible allowance of 10% of salary (up to a ceiling of 15K) to choose extra benefits or take as cash. These choices will be available from April 2023.
