- information you provide to us: when you contact us with questions, queries or feedback or when you register to use our eCommercial system or any other UKIB Site, the personal data you provide may include your full name, email address, company name (if applicable) and other contact details
- recruitment application; when you apply for a role with us you may be need to provide us with your name and contact details along with various personal employment data, this is processed in line with our Recruitment Policy; and

How we use the information we collect

- where you have registered with another UKIB Site, for the purposes set out on the relevant registration page or in the terms of use in relation to that UKIB Site

- to comply with legal and regulatory obligations that we have to discharge

Depending on the nature of the personal data, and the reason why we need it, we rely on the following legal bases to process your personal data:

Sharing your personal data with third parties
The personal data we collect may need to be shared with our supplier organisations, government departments, agencies and public bodies. We will only do this where it is necessary and the law allows us to.

Keeping your information secure
Sending information over the internet is not completely secure, which means that we cannot guarantee the security of your data while it is in transit. In general, and subject to the above, this means that we will only hold your personal data for a maximum of 2 years, unless stated otherwise in our policies and/ or the terms of use for the relevant UKIB Site.

We design, build and run our systems to make sure that your personal data is as safe as possible at all stages, both while it’s being actively processed and when it is being stored.
All personal data we hold is stored in the UK or the European Economic Area (EEA).
